Emperor announced on their Mark Zuckerbook page that they are playing their second album, Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk, at the 2018 Inferno Metal Festival in Oslo, Norway.

Underground death metal legends Sadistic Intent are the only good band currently booked for the 2018 iteration of Maryland Deathfest, North America’s premier SJW pandering pseudo-metal festival. The only other notable booking is Sinister, who are playing with a heavily gutted lineup with Aad Kloosterwaard as the only original member. He doesn’t even play drums anymore but just does the vocals now. Headbangers would be wise to avoid this yearly reoccurring cancer.

Blood, Sadistic Intent, Suffocation, Angel Witch, Root, and Mortuary Drape are playing the 2018 Netherlands iteration of the social justice warrior organized Deathfest series of festivals. This one will run from March 2nd to March 4th and will be a good chance for Dutch headbangers to check out Sadistic Intent and Blood live. Hopefully the sound will not be as terrible as everyone is saying it was when Maryland Deathfest moved to a parking lot surrounded by junkie encampment in Baltimore.

Blood are playing their first ever American show in Seattle, Washington thhis fall on November 18th. Apparently Demoncy and a Seattle area promoter met up with them in Germany and convinced them to fly to the states for a one-off gig. Will Demoncy open for Blood? The annual Canadian black metal festival Messe des Morts is being held this year despite last year’s edition of the festival being shutdown by communists, anti-fascists and social justice warriors supported by the Montreal police as nationalist bands Graveland and Forteresse were booked to play. The 2017 edition will be held on November 23rd through 25th in Montreal according to the released flyer. Hopefully Messe des Morts will fight back against the leftist manlets this time around.

Sammath, Standvast, and Isvind are playing a show in Löberschütz, Thuringia, Germany on February 23rd, 2018, the night before their Diabolical Echoes PT2 gig. German fans in the area should check it out as Sammath are the most ferocious current death and black metal band. Yes both death and black metal. Sammath are that good if our staff have not emphasized that enough. Standvast aren’t bad either but they’re no Sammath; Standvast are not going to go Duke Nukem on posers and hipsters like Sammath will.
