Carrying forward the old school energy with an idiosyncratic voice of its own, Sépulcre aims for a mid-paced, shifting texture of riffs which culminate in the expansion of melody, producing both a bounding exuberant energy and a dark ambiguous mood which swallows up the rest of each track.
In the vein of early Demigod and Sinister, this music adores a good brutal and primitive riff to bludgeon us, then extending the idea of that riff into theme and ultimately massaging it into melody. This vertiginous tactic causes a suspension of disbelief, and we drop into a world of similar rhythms and tempi but varied expression.
Infectious rhythms carry forward songs which hold together despite a fair amount of complexity, producing the aura of desolation and conflict in the midst of a melancholy ennui for which death metal is known. Expect to be transported, stranded, and then rediscovered.

Very good for a first demo.
