Textures replaced riffs. This is not a continuation of Obscura. Ambient music for neurotics. More fodder for the ADHD generation.
Started listening. Stopped. Put on CONSIDERED DEAD followed by EROSION OF SANITY instead.
How is this still considered Gorguts? Something about that OBSCURA album, which I hitherto cannot stand, totally fucked this band/Lemay up forever.
Also…32 minute EP?! Pompous creeps.

This is mostly a prog album with only a few minutes of actual death metal.
It shouldn’t even be called Gorguts anymore.
Bringing these Dysrhythmia douches into the band has pretty much killed it.
That Negativa EP was shitty prog, too, but at least it had enough dignity to not claim the Gorguts name.
As a starchaser & artistic technique learner I like this song, but it lacks the meaning of spiritual level I think.
This sounds like “Obscura getting AIDS from From Wisdom to Hate while in the same time the mentally handicapped Colored Sands is taking the AIDS from Obscura’s ass with his tiny dick”.
