War Master clandestinely premiered a new track from their upcoming second album, To Live Suffices To Conquer, on their sold-out Japan only compilation CD. The new track abandons most of the Bolt Thrower influence in favor of the Carnage and Dismember ones introduced on the Blood Dawn EP. Enjoy it now on Youtube:

Almost my first thought when listening was “American band, obviously”, because of the clean sound and the way the riffs are constructed (evoking an air of traditional metal), so comparison this with three European groups came as a surprise. Dismember is, politely put, ‘not for me’ but Carnage (listened this for the first time) is really outstanding, as close to perfection as things can possibly get (may be a bit premature after listening to two tracks but I’m pretty convinced of it).
As unrelation continuation of the »Dark Funeral Saga«, here’s something straight from the horse’s mouth:
“When you’re doing a record, you have to fall into a black hole, always, […]” the guitarist says.
Afterwards, his photograph fell out of the Terrorizer copy I was holding. Si tacuisses, philosophus esses.
Warmaster literally made me kick the rust off my gear and actually have fun again! These guys demand that get in step and throw down some old school thrash! 30 seconds of TLSTConquer was all I needed to get over the malaise brought on by the current state of Death Doom and Black Metal bands . Made it to Baltimore this year but had I made last year”s Deathfest I would have better picked what my bro was puttin down when he told me these dudes were fast and pulverizing. Kicks Ass.
