Got it right with the Nile reference… but why? Are they a good live band and, if they were, what excuse is there for promoting the lackluster music? This is mediocre and a waste of time to this site’s audience.
To me these guy sound like a mix of Behemoth, Vader, and Krisiun. While they do borrow a lot from these bands, listening through the whole album, there is some really cool stuff going on. Almost Sepultura-like percussive moments sprinkled throughout. I can see if someone only listened to 30 secs or 1 track they could be unimpressed, but this album seems to require a full listen. I researched more and the record before this they actually recorded at Hertz Studio in Poland. The song “Baptized in Blood” on that record is killer!!! Thanks DeathMetal.org for posting this or I would never have heard of them. Unlike elitist armchair quarterbacks like Inebriated Person who just like to come on these site’s to talk shit and hate on bands, I think it important to give all these bands a chance, because you never know. I think there is a lot of promise with Unearthly – I hope to see these guys do more and expand their sound.
