Evil Tentacle Records experienced some printing plant delays with its re-issue of Sorcier Des Glaces Snowland on vinyl but is still taking pre-orders.

A black metal classic originally released as a CD-R, Snowland offers a highly effective and visionary form of epic melodic black metal. That this was originally released in 1998 is a wonder considering the tepid and downright flaccid nature of black metal at the time.

Regarding the vinyl re-release the label has released the following statement:

Cold, cult, uncompromising! Snowland does not need any introduction.
This masterpiece of Quebec black metal is a tribute to the norwegian masters.
An absolute must-have classic. 250 copies on black vinyl.

Bad news, the pressing plant received a damaged stamper and had to rush order a new one.
Good news, Snowland is now priority #1 for them and they’ll probably be pressing the test press next week. Jackets are already printed, so no issue possible.

Furthermore, we assume that this is the last covid delay since our local pressing plant will soon press at a regular pace.

Unfortunately, We can’t know when postal services will be back to normal after being such a sluggish and slow pain in the ass. We can all assume this will slowly get happen.

Snowland will then be ready in July. We hope this freezing classic will bring a cold breeze to your burning hot summer.
