The Indonesian leader made the Danish guy replace his shirt with a Manowar one.
And Justice For All is a great album until you realise most of it is really really boring except for One.
It coulda been a halfway decent rock / metal record if all the nonsensical wanky jams (which is about 50% of thr album) had been cut.
and if it didn’t have the first Modern Metal Production Job(tm)
An excellent point as well good sir.
I used to own this album (2nd record I ever bought) but I never managed to figure out what it could be good for. Master of Puppets has some decent tracks on it and And Justice For All is basically an attempt to repeat that with the motor turned off but the flywheel still rotating for some time.
Except One. That was a forerunner of what was to come and as such, a pretty terrible rock song.
One is the song that got me in to metal, and I still like it to this day, but it did foreshadow the alternating soft/heavy, alt-rock/metal style (nu metal and its progeny) that has plagued the world since the mid 90s.
someone give trump a copy of their first album and gently whisper in his hear, “…mexicans”
