Blood Incantation have announced their debut full-length Starspawn out for release August 19th on Dark Descent Records.
While Blood Incantation’s riffs were sometimes interesting on their Interdimensional Extinction EP, the Colorado tech death band’s spacey songs harkened back to the meanderings of Nocturnus or Stargazer more than underground death metal heroes Demilich and Timeghoul. Hopefully their songwriting has improved and isn’t just tekdeaf jazz fusion.

Prepared to love this; resigned to hate it.
This bands arrogance is repugnant and off putting. Their music is good, I like the EP but none of it sticks, probably because I’m not at the level of unparalleled genius it takes to craft such riff potions which are actually mental stargates or blah fucking blah
Maybe they’re just big SG-1 fans?
Stop being so autistic, bro.
Sounds lame. Song linked was aimless.
People praise Nocturnus? I used to own this but never really knew what to make of it. I’ve now re-listend to the first track and my internet connection committed suicide afterwards. I take this as symbolic gesture.
