Arghoslent are working on new material according to their website. Hopefully the “melodic death metal” band’s extended downtime has allowed them to refine their material into something not merely a collection of riffs and heavy metal wank like their last few records.
Pogrom and Holocausto are working on new music and lyrics, and have been for a few years. The band will enter the studio once the time is right (quality material & logistics).

Galloping Through the Battle Ruins impressed me at first, but didn’t get better with repeated listens.

Very few bands approach the awesomeness of Bathory. Galloping is a good album, but must be in a certain mood to listen to it. I agree with the bands’ ideology, but there’s better bands out there. I remember being sorely disappointed when I listened to incorrigible bigotry years ago. If I want to bash some skulls in I’ll listen to Angry Aryans or Aggravated Assault. RAC/hatecore type shit.

Stick to Incantation clones and pipe tobacco if all you’re going to do is rehash the same talking points about every band that isn’t Blaspherian.

I still think this band is in the position to put out a magnum opus if they try. Most likely it will be another flawed but enjoyable piece of the confederate British-colonialist LARPer puzzle that is Arghoslent.
Demos are wonderful. Galloping is probably their best material but the guitar production is a bit soft.

One thing to keep in mind is that anarchopunk tshirts are non-controversial. They’re just the 1960s warmed over, and most people view the 60s as the birth of our current culture and society.
T-shirts are generally non-controversial. A Graveland-shirt might upset J Random MetalSucks author but there aren’t many of these. Most people will ignore it. The intellectually more active ones will probably think that’s something like Amon Amarth or Suicide Silence.
Among normal people, it is still normal and acceptable to proclaim that one likes Burzum or Graveland by wearing one of their shirts.

I remember Danko Jones from the 90s: the promo every metal station got and promptly turned into a frisbee. What a poseur and pretender. He would be happier in some rock band; he was like the metal version of Hootie and The Blowfish.
Even funnier an anarchist shirt will have a splattered fetus or black n white Discharge style design with a graphic picture of a Muslim woman being stoned to death (with some line like Male Dumbinance?!), and it won’t cause nearly as much grief and panic and possibly debilitating shock as a simple Graveland logo (whether accompanied by truck stop commemorative collecter plates of Indians and Wolves style Viking art or not)
The masters will finally return!! No one in this day and age can write better riffs than them. All 3 albums are some of the finest moments in metal and I hope the lyrics will be even more offensive.
