Metal exists in part to explain an insane world in a way that will not drive us insane, with starts by acknowledging that everything that groups of humans think is order is chaos, the “chaos” of nature is in fact an intense order, and that we are not insane for noticing that humanity is insane and needs a 2×4 to the head to wake up.

Conjureth, a project of Decrepitaph personnel, released its new EP Foul Formations on February 15, 2020, featuring more of its hybrid between Incantation and Immolation style mid-paced trudging death metal. Each song builds its main riff out of a central theme, then creates a staggered counterphrase for the chorus, and features a more thorough and basic elucidation of the theme as a transition, but otherwise for the most part is riff-chorus metal.

Metal worships the extreme and natural, such as death, war, disease, horror, and disaster. This allows it to snap out of the normal human social bubble, where we only talk about pleasant things, and to accept life as it is, which in turn enables metalheads to perceive the beauty inherent in our chaotic world.
