Hmm, did I miss the announcement that MARDUK was going to turn into grindcore?? Well, from start to finish, this is a grindcore album no matter what anyone says. Short 1-3 minute "burst" styled tracks with the same drumbeat (blast beat) and low-tuned grindcore-like guitar riffs with Legion's voice over it!! Apart from the lyrics and vocals, how can anyone call this black metal??? I refuse to!!! To say this isn't grindcore would be the same as saying early NAPALM DEATH isn't grindcore either!!! But the problem is, early ND was listenable, this isn't!!!
