15 tracks on this CD, which features the following band : VORDVEN, VELES, ABSENT SILENCE, SORCERY, MINOTAUR, GRAVELAND*, NARGAROTH*, HELLFIRE, ABYSSIC HATE*, URGEHAL*, SUICIDAL WINDS*, ABSURD*, JOYLESS*, FALKENBACH* and FURTHEST SHORE. The most famous ones (*) are credited here of rare tracks or demo versions of some of their songs, this is a very good idea and makes the difference between this compilation and the usual sampler Cds made by the other trendy labels, which usually do not offer more than a couple of unreleased tracks to the fans (what doesn't make their compilations worthy enough to pay for in my sense). So one more time this compilation is a low-price Cd and there are so many killer tracks and bands on it that you have no excuse not to have it already ! The ABYSSIC HATE song ("betrayed") is taken from their 1998 promo and it's a track that also appear on their first CD but in a different (and not as good) version, and the ABSURD track ("the vampire") is also an unreleased one, and these 2 songs are a sufficient reason for you to get this CD... Also note that JOYLESS unmixed track that sounds like THE CRANBERRIES ! Really strange band... So if you have the first volume of this compilation and if you like it you must have this one.
