Fleurety
Black Snow
[Independent]
"Black Snow", and Fleurety for that matter, is one of the strangest
pieces of music I have heard, BM or not. This is the only material I have
heard from the band, besides one other comp. track, and honestly I can
declare it to be utterly strange; the vocals on the demo are perhaps the
most unique aspect of all, with their unabashedly high-pitched screams that
put Ishan-Dani to shame. The musical side of the demo is complimentary to
the vocals; following dissonant and subdued rhythms, as well as harmonical
avenues, the guitars lead one into a land of unpredictability and
stochasticism. There are three tracks to be heard here, and they are all in
the same vein of randomness. Furthermore, there are some brief ambient
sections smattered throughout which introduce even further a uneasy element
to the already unsettling compositions. I am very impressed. Check this
stuff out.
