This work would be a perfect soundtrack to a modern version of Triumph of the Will. Textures cold, uplifting, haunting and morose, with a complete and total immersion of essence in the depths and mazes of circuitry and nodes of technology befall you whilst you absorb this work of art. Yet, this is not deviod of spirit. One is drawn into Stark Von Oben's gigeresque world of loops and samples, of brilliantly programmed drums, of aerie heights achieved through it's synthesized notes. Close your eyes, and travel through realms of glass and structure, of torch lit propaganda marches, of grim scenes of urban warfare, of the future worlds of humanized, mechanized, organic degeneration. Ambient industrial nucleic atmospheres combine with black metal vocals to make this truly a standout in it's field. Comparisons can be made to Death in June, AllerSeelen, BloodAxis, Iuvenes, Burzum, Swans, and Einsturzende Neubauten, each having some similarity or connection in feel or sound, but they are tenuous at best. For in truth, it is not of this crumbling age, but of wholy another futuristic one, an entity on its own.
