SINISTER has always been a band that doesn't like "new" things in Death Metal. They like raw DM, so this one is in the same vein as the 2 previous releases. The particularity on this CD is that there is no longer any male singer in the band... Not that they want to do some atmospheric shit with female vocals, but the new singer, Rachel, is simply incredible : even if her voice sounds a bit "under powerful" than the previous singers who played in the band, she has a fucking deep and guttral voice ! This is really incredible to imagine such a nice girl (hey, she's good-looking !) screaming like Corpsegrinder from CANNIBAL CORPSE !

Well, in fact CANNIBAL CORPSE is also a big influence for these Dutch on this release, even if SINISTER plays a heavier Death Metal than CC. I have to admit I like this CD, it's a good, well a very good CD but I still prefer "Hate", which is in my sense the best album ever made by the band. Anyway, if you like brutal Death Metal, you should buy this CD, because Rachel's performance is totally incredible ! All Hails !
