Back to the roots of their first CD, DECAYED's 3rd full-length CD is a pure killer ! One year after the very disappointing "In lustful...", the band came back with great "old-fashioned" and above all very powerful Black/Thrash metal songs, with a great sound that kicks your ass and will make you bang your head 'til the end (note there's no drummer but a drum-machine destroynig everything in your room when you listen to this CD at maximum volume !). There are 17 songs on the CD, whereas only 10 titles are given in the booklet, what will become common with DECAYED on their next releases. But in fact, in addition to the 10 first songs there are 2 tracks that consist in the "Satanic Rock'n'Roll" extra-single and the 5 other ones are just "noisy tracks". The extra-single songs are "From blues to Black", a "rock'n'roll" song with various riffs created by many people who used to play or to be in contact with DECAYED. It's a kind of DECAYED vesrion of "Bad to the bone" by the way... The second track, "One with the gods", is dedicated to all drinkers who listen to Metal on this planet. It reminds me a lot of BATHORY's "The return of darkness and evil" sometimes, but maybe am I wrong ? Anyway, all songs on this album are powerful, dedicated to the black fucking metal spirit, and the VENOM cover track ("Countess Bathory") is a proof that the old death/black metal scene rules ! HAIL DECAYED ! HAILBLACK MAYHEMIC METAL !!!!!!
