DECAYED likes the old spirit of black metal, that's why they like limietd productions (all their CD albums & EPs are limited), tapes and EPs. So here's a new tape by these legends, featuring 4 tracks recorded in late 1996 and 4 tracks recorded in early 1998. All of them were, as usual, recorded at the Hell-Mayhem studio. The first side (Side Black) features the tracks from '98. Two of them are re-recorded versions of old DECAYED songs, who are much better on this tape than on their original form... "In lustful mayhem" is here much better than on the self-tited CD, on which the production was pretyy poor... And even if "The seven seals" was a good song on the EP with the same name, on this tapeLP it sound more "rock'n'roll" and powerful. On the second side, the Metal side (of course), there are only cover songs : "Tormentor" (KREATOR), "Sign of evil" (VIOLENT FORCE), "Woman of dark desires" (BATHORY) & "The conquerer" (SODOM). All of them are excellent, it's hard to say which one is the best but my favourite is certainly "Sign of evil".
