Yes, Thou Art Lord - a Greek band, or rather a supergroup, with an all-star cast, which includes Rotting Christ guitarist Necromayhem and Necromantia's Magus Wampyr Daoloth on bass, synth and vocals. This release combines the band's two albums "Eosforos" and "Apollyon," which means that you will surely get your money's worth with it. "Eosforos" is chock full of classic Greek black metal for all the old-time fans of Rotting Christ, Varathron, Necromantia and so on. "Apollyon," meanwhile, carries a good deal of influence from the classic German thrash (Kreator, Destruction etc.) alongside its early 90's Mediterranean blackness, which will also please many a soul among the old school headbangers. And that's basically who this CD is for. Can you go wrong with it? Absolutely not, unless of course you are a big Cradle Of Filth fan, or if you already own these albums separately. Good stuff. Oh yeah, the band's photo shows the guys striking macho poses while equipped with Uzi sub-machine guns.
