I'm not especially a KRIEG addict, I think "Rise..." is a listenable LP and that's it, but I have to admit that I really hate this MCD ! The production is horrible, the only thing you can hear clearly are the drum parts, the guitar parts are either drowned in the background or unbearable and show little interest. This kind of MCD makes me think of ANTAEUS & ARKHON INFAUSTUS ' latest releases (MKM of ANTAEUS is thanked in the booklet by Lord Imperial), incredibly boring messes trying to be considered as "cult" but with nothing in the music. The only track that caught my attention is the first one (it also appears on that split EP with JUDAS ISCARIOT), but the other ones only present a kind of pathetic black metal... Imperial also expresses in the booklet his hatred towards the US BM scene, but did he hear at least bands like PANTHEON, BELLUM, BLACK WITCHERY... ?? Because they recorded stuff which was 1000 times better than this "church"...
