Primal Fear
Primal Fear
[Nuclear Blast]
So you may be wondering what I’m doing reviewing an
album that is so melody driven, how can this album be
any good? Well, to be perfectly blunt, anyone who says
melody and heaviness do not mix is a fool, because
this album is one of the heaviest albums I have heard
in a long time.
“Primal Fear” kicks off with an eerie intro, then
kicks right into “Chainbreaker” a classic smash you
face rocker. “Formula One” ups the pace, and
“Battalions Of Hate” is another classic killer.
“Primal Fear” is basically about 50% Priest, and 50%
Accept. Ralf Scheepers is a phenomenal vocalist who
rips your face off with his powerful screams. Guitar
sounds are good on this album, but the drums sound a
little weak from time to time.
For those of you who are interested in expanding your
simple mind into the area of melodic Metal, pick this
one up.
