Anthrax is a band that I really hate for the most part. Musically the band always seemed to hover just above the Hardcore Punk line. Joey has got to be one of the most annoying vocalist, and the music itself never made up for it. “Fistful” however, is the exception to the rule.

From the very first guitar riff, one will notice that the band used to be pure old school romping stomping speed metal, similar to Metallica in the “Kill Em All” days. The old vocalist isn’t a whining little bitch either, which really helps with the bands overall sound. While not ground braking, this album has all solid songs. Forget about all the other Anthrax you have heard, this one really does sound different.
