Megiddo
The Devil And The Whore
[Barbarian Wrath]
For those of you retards who don’t know the band
Megiddo, the brain child of ChorazaiM , lord and
master of LARM, I won’t even bother with you. On
second thought, you may not be a senseless pile of
fecal waste, you may merely be new to the Metal world.
ChorazaiM hails from his little corner of hell,
Canada, and Megiddo play old school Black Metal, not
Norsecore (Dimmu Borgir etc.), but real Black Metal,
in the tradition of the great molders of evil.
When I first put this album on I was sitting in front
of my computer surfing the web, when the first waves
of blasphemy smashed their way through my speakers.
Almost immediately following the first attack on my
ears I thought, “holy shit”. After taking a look
around and discovering this album was not recorded in
1985 I began to think to myself, “why can’t more bands
play this way”. “The Devil And The Whore” is exactly
what I was looking for, that is, a band willing to
play like Bathory and Minotaur played back in the
glory days of Metal.
Every track on this album, takes you on a trip back
to 1985, all are great assaults of Black Metal. If
you, the reader, are worth anything you will
immediately seek this album from Barbarian Wrath
records (hail to Blackgoat). Only a limited number of
copies are available so find the money somewhere and
pick it up. If it turns out that you can’t get this
album send me an email. If ChorazaiM gives me
permission, I will burn it for you.
