Sacrifice
Soldiers Of Misfortune
[Metal Blade]
Part 3 of the Sacrifice saga is here. After 2 classic
thrash albums, the Canadian terror squad is back to
raise hell once more. Apparently Sacrifice broke up
for a few years after the great “Forward To
Termination”, but reunited to record another album.
From the beginning of this album, it is apparent that
Sacrifice has still got it. Beginning with “As The
World Burns”, this album is yet another great slab of
Thrash Metal. Urbinati’s vocal approach has changed
from the previous 2 albums. Instead of only using
hellish screams, some of the time, every lyric is
screeched. Guitars and drumming are still superb as
always. Standout tracks include “As The World Burns”,
“In Defiance” and “A Storm In The Silence”, but as a
whole this album does not compare to the first 2.
Sacrifice manages to make another great album, but
does not keep up the level of greatness the first 2
shared.
As is the case with all Sacrifice albums, this one
may be a bit difficult to get. Drop me an email for a
CD-R.
