Sacrifice
Forward To Termination
[Restless/Metal Blade]
Another installment of Thrash Metal mayhem has hit me
in the face from Canada’s own Sacrifice. Urbinati
(forgive any spelling errors in this name) and company
slaughter the senses again with “Forward to
Termination”.
As soon as the sound waves from this album hit my
ears, a feeling of gratitude washed over me. Sacrifice
deserves thanks for producing such a great follow up
to the mighty “Torment in Fire”. Ripping guitar solos,
merciless drumming and hellish screams are all present
as they were in the past. Production has improved
since the “Torment In Fire” days, which adds a bit to
the overall crunch of the album. Gone from this album
are the satanic lyrics and the evil intros that graced
its predecessor.
Sacrifice, once again make it hard to choose a best
track, since they are all classics. Overall this album
doesn’t quite match “Torment in Fire”, but every
Thrash Metal fan should all own this masterpiece.
Availability plagues this album as well, so if any of
the readers need me to burn them a CD-R send me email.
