This is possibly the best demo I have ever heard. Period. The emotions that this material produces inside an individual are second to none in terms of desolation and depression. To top things off, Trelldom is fronted by one of the scenes more talented vocalists Gaahl, who is better known for his work with Gorgoroth. But I say fuck Gorgoroth, I never liked them anyways. It dosent do him any justice. The Dissapearance of the Burning Moon is Trelldom's one and only demo, and quite frankly, I think its their best material to date. For those who have heard Til Evighet, sure, it has all the songs from this tape. But what the debut dosent have is a sick atmosphere of densly layered guitars and tortured vocalls, all which make the demo better. In fact, I think its safe to say that it was worth the 30 dollars I paid for the bitch in the first place!

To end, anybody looking for some killer, OLD SCHOOL, Norwegian black metal directly in the vien of Transylvanian Hunger, check this sucker out.

P.S. : The first song on this demo is the best black metal tune ever written.
