While looking a little silly with his snake and biological supply company collection of bones, Scorpios creates grim and mystical black metal. Comparison to other bands is hard to do - Scorpios' influences have been internalized and are used effectively to create original black metal. Adding to the intensity of the songs, a lead guitar plays over the base rhythm of the song (provided by bass, geetar & synth). Sometimes the lead plays a harmonized rhythm part, but often it veers off into some sinister anti-melodies, which accent the songs superbly. Some songs are classic black metal, some are a little more thrashy, and the last tune is an interesting ambient ditty utilizing samples of some Gregorian style chant-thing and a loop of some chic moaning in ecstasy. Cool.
