Quite a peculiar album this is. One might simply say artsy farty pseudo black metal about it, but somehow that isn't quite fair as they manage to make a pretty decent album. Although I must admit it doesn't really appeal to me much, I can see that this quite good for all these artsy fartsy pseudo black metal bands of today, as they occasionally even do sound quite good, but overall it's not my thing. But they do it well, and seems to have some spirit behind it, so somehow I must say that despite them not being my cup of tea, they aren't a bad band and this is not as such a bad album. So if you go for experimental stuff with some black metal elements, and you can live with the whining vocals that sometimes is in French, which is the album's worst point, this album might be good, and if you prefer straightforward black metal then it's not the perfect album for you, although there are some parts of just that.
