I usually wouldn't be interested in a mixture of goth and melodeath, but these danes captured my interest with a quite excellent demo, and also their 7", I thought was quite good so naturally was highly interested in this their debut album, and I was quite dissapointed. It had become more gothic and more soft, far more predictable and somewhat more whiny vocal wise, overall it was just emphesezing the least interesting aspects of what they did on their demo and ep. Even the songs that are also featured here from demo, don't capture the spirit they had. It all becomes dreadfully boring and utterly reeks of selfpity, and not to mention that this spouts some of the worst female vocals, only topped by Mortum and Mystic Circle's first album. However one must give them a bit of credit for their skill and technique, and besides it does at least sound equally good as so many other melodeath releases...
