Ulver's strangest album to date. A dark, techno, ambient ep that is surprisingly well done.
Of Wolves and Vibrancy - The techno track. However this is wierder and more complicated than commercial techno, not at all bad.
Gnosis - A dark ambient track which is very calming in its opening and then moves into a part with guitar and vocals. The high point of the album. It actually sounds like Ulver for about 4 minutes!
Limbo Central (theme from Perdition City) - The theme song to Ulver's upcoming "soundtrack" release. A very cool dark ambient track.
Of Wolves and Withdrawal - A long ambient track. Half of which is near silence with a booming distortion popping up now and then. It then moves into music similar to track 5 on Burzum's "Filosofem".
I found this CD to be surprisingly worthwhile although the elitists will probably buy a copy of this to set on fire and piss on the flames.
