Is Necrophobic the only really heavy band on Black Mark worth listening to besides Bathory? The title track (also on the "Darkside" album) is fast and shreds. 'Nuff said. The rest are three covers-Slayer's "Die By The Sword", Venom's "Nightmare", and Bathory's "Enter the Eternal Fire". Played precisely like the originals if not better , and while not as noisy as Spawned By Evil, the cleaner, modern production is ace and still as fucking heavy!

Is this 16 minute cd essential? No. It is cool to throw on once in awhile if you have overplayed the original versions (and since Necrophobic didn't mess up the Bathory cover, they're even cooler! I have to get all their releases now).
