Mayhem
Dawn of the black hearts
[Warhammer]
Cover pic (taken after vocalist Dead blew out his brains) makes this
automatically underground cult metal. The majority of this cd is from a 1990
Sarpsborg gig and is so raw, heavy, and evil you gotta love it. Dead, bassist
Necrobutcher, drummer Hellhammer, and also deceased guitarist Euronymous (killed
in self defense by "Count Grishnackh" /Varg Vikernes of Burzum, currently in
prison, but still releasing albums) shred as fast, crazy and brutal as early
Bathory! Total world at an end/ hell on earth , blazing trail of satanic hate.
Underproduced to say the least, in fact most of you will say it sounds like shit
, but this is a quadrillion times better than that clean Live in leipzig CD in
my opinion.
deathcrush
necrolust
funeral fog
freezing moon
carnage
buried by time and dust
chainsaw gutsfuck
pure fucking armageddon
The last part are sloppy yet energetic covers of Celtic Frost and Venom taken
from a 1985 show in Lillehammer with Maniac on vocals and Manheim on drums. The
sound couldn't get any worse, could it? (Actually yes, and ChorazaiM can attest
to this, as we had a band once that tried to be more horrible than Intense
Mutilation!) This is still cool in my opinion, even if it is a wall of mud.
Obviously, this unofficial release is only for diehard Mayhem and REAL black
metal fans.
danse macabre (celtic frost)
black metal (venom)
procreation of the wicked (frost)
welcome to hell (venom)
