ARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!! AMERICAN BLACK METAL OWNS YOU
ALL!!!!!!... This is another fine example of why
the american scene is where to go if you are a fan of
the old style of black metal, and want to hear
more than just another clone... This is horribly
produced (4-track!!), destructive black metal at
its best!!!
Vox - The vocals here amaze me.. They are some of the
most torturous screams of hate-filled agony
I have ever heard.. They are in the typical black
rasp/shriek style, but they are filled with so
much hate and conviction that surely lets one know
that armageddon is calling!! Fucking killer
10/10
Guitars - The guitars here are done in a very original
way.. they don't just buzz at you, they are
clearly heard (well.. not clearly, but just not
fuzzy), and are very strangley played.. some of the
strangest riffs ever laid onto an album.. and to me it
seems as though there is a constant solo
being played deep in the back ground.. it creates a
very grim feeling indeed.. Very good 8/10
Bass - I am not sure if there is a bass played on this
due to it being a 4-track and 2 guitars are
used.. so I will not say anything about it and not
grade it
Drums - The drumming here is done by a drum machine (I
believe that is what he told me..), and it is
used quite exceptionally! Never over-blasting to the
point where you can tell its not a human..
and also some weird bass/snare work is done creating a
strange holocaust aura around the music..
Very good 8/10
This demo fucking kills!!!! My only complaint is that
the production could have been just a tad
better, don't get me wrong, I love raw productions,
but this is beyond raw.. so it takes some
getting used to.. but nonetheless a very, VERY good
demo, and I await the full length eagerly
