From the country known at that time as Czecho-Slovakia comes this unique band with their debut CD (recorded in december 1990). Lyrics are in whatever language they speak over there and totally unutterable and incomprehensible, with lots of strange characters that notepad (in which this review was written) couldn't display them with the help of my character map! The music is amongst the strangest I've heard as well. Not because of complexity or instrumentation or influences even, it *seems* to be pretty straightforward mid- to fast-paced black metal with quite sickening vocals, I might add. It just has such a weird and evil twist that is impossible to pinpoint. The feel is bombastic and megalomanic (although 'atmospheric' elements such as synths are very sparsely used) and EVIL. The band (consisting of individuals with immortal nom-de-guerres such as Monster, Silenthell and Necrocock!!) are well-versed in writing songs with a proper end and beginning. The music isn't overly technical but not really simple
either. What more to say about this, at first glance it seems to be straightforward black metal but it's so twisted and sick and *weird* that I can't find any words for it. This is a work of geniality ridden with madness and insanity and everybody should hear it for themselves.
