Total Sabbat (the English band which vocalist at least formed Skyclad after their break up) worship from these Dutchies, and while I most often am not in favor of clone bands, there are bands that do their thing well enough and just captures the spirit rather than the aesthetic, or at least more spirit than aesthetic, and thus I consider these bands worthwhile, and Bifrost is one of those bands. For those that do not know Sabbat. they were a pagan thrash band, there weren't many pagan elements musically, but image and lyrically and finally conceptually they were, and so is Bifrost, although Bifrost has some death metal, and maybe even some black metal, of the typical greek sort, elements that were not present in Sabbat, and they might at least be part of what helps them set apart from Sabbat. But what the hell, this is a good peice of metal, so bang your heads till you get dizzy, and then just keep banging...
