This split cd includes four trax from each band. Descend starts things off, death metal with an edge of darkness. "Unseen", has an ominous intro into the musick, very uniquely done. "Visions to Come", fast paced with a killer add in of a bomb dropping, "Toutatis Strikes", is an instrumental, you'll not get bored with this instrumental, rhythms are extremely varied, (rhythm section--Shawn Hapney-drums and Mike Guinther-bass). "To Infinity We Shall Fall", deadly guttural vocals, by Nate Worthington, lite touches of black metal interwoven through this tune. Lead guitar by Gary Heinrich is filled with style. Descend rulez the split cd. Bringing up the rear of this split is, All That is Evil. "Peril At Sea", "I Am Wolf"-vocals on this tune shred, gives the impression of a duet between a werewolf and the man who is driven by his lycanthropic tendencies. "The God of Duality", "Her Only Wish"-the tale of a female spirit haunting property until her remains were discovered. Lyrically each song tells an eerie tale, very well written. Vocals by Anthony Malcolm are understandable, while at the same time vicious as hell. Musically death/thrash blend. Overall, it's an excellent taste of two versatile bands.
