Occultus are from Columbia, and Esgaroth are from Greece, and have a Medieval Demon member. Both bands sound strangely similar, and I wondered to myself sometimes if they were attempting to cover each other on tracks like 'Gloria al Ocultismo' vs. 'Buried into the crypts of everlasting winter'.

Nordic influences are obvious here - I assume both bands are trying to sound a little like early Satyricon. The lyrics are so wonderfully idiotic that you can't help but want to gag as well. 'Dream lover'!? 'An anthem for her macabre beauty'! Is this a fucking Celine Dion album?
