Inferno / Moonblood
Ve Znamenj Ohne /
Kingdom Under Funeral Skies
[Sombre]

Another 7" with Moonblood on one side, released by Sombre records. Rather poor packaging this time around, huh lads? 500 hand-numbered copies, regardless.

I'm not sure how, but every time Moonblood appears on a split 7", they blow the shite out of the other band. Granted, Nema came up with an impressive track, but it still didn't really compare in my opinion.

The title track is another work of genius from the German legends, and the sheer power of the main riff will knock you straight onto your arse! Faster this time around it seems, too...

Inferno, from Czechia, start out with some harsh screaming, and then jump into some Norse inspired black metal. Psychotic vocals that are more controlled then Maniac Butcher, but still over the top. I assume this stuff is Immortal inspired, as it has the heavy and thick guitars overtop the drum blasts. Nothing special, even the Master's Hammer cover.

Another solid split underground 7". Check out the Nhaavah/Katharsis split 7" on the same label for another fine Czech/German pairing off.
