Ranging from songs that could be considered pop (Losing Myself) or black metal (The Bleakness of it All) this is Edge of Sanity's most diverse album, which is due to the friction that was going within the band. Looking over who played and wrote which songs it seems Dan Swano was divided from the rest of the band with Benny Larsson (drums) caught in between. The musicianship and production (by Peter Tagtgren) is excellent and there are some great songs, but due to its overall unevenness, this album may be a tough sell to those who aren't fans of the band. Fans will need to get this one however.
