Forging their way from the murky depths of the Cincinnati scene, that is saturated with rap-core bands, is Estuary of Calamity. Estuary of Calamity brings the listener through an eclipse of emotions with their dark brew of music. "The Sentencing" blends in different instruments; from the harp to the flute to keyboards (by Leslie Thomas), weaving them uniquely in throughout their melodic euphonies. Estuary of Calamity's music has a European feel to it, like; Katatonia and Ophthalamia. The vocals by Ash Thomas are deadly, and the dual guitars give the music a technical edge. Seven devastatingly original tunez are included on "The Sentencing"-fans of dark atmospheric death/doom metal should have this release.
