OK, this sucks! What the fuck happened to the old Ancient? Warning: This is not the same Norwegian act that produced the cult album "Svartalvheim." Supposedly they relocated to my home town of Northern VA and recruited some local musicians to complete their line-up. Obviously they fucked up really bad when they recruited these people because this album is nothing but cheese. The new singer used to be in another blackmetal band called Grand Belial's Key (who isn't that bad at all). They've also added a keyboard player by the name of Kimberly Goss who must be one of the ugliest females in blackmetal. She also sucks really bad when it comes to singing and this contributes more than anything to the shit status of this album. She sounds like a fucking glam rock singer from the 80's or something. Actually, this album wouldn't be so bad if she didn't have any part in it. I am officially starting a trust fund for Kimberly Goss so that she can get a fucking plastic surgeon. Avoid this album like the plague. 1/10
