Ravishing Grimness

Even after all the disappointments of 1999 (GRAVELAND, BURZUM, SUMMONING,
DODHEIMSGARD…) “Ravishing Grimness” managed to surprise me with it’s total lack
of inspiration!
Instead of being a warmed-up “Total Death”, this feels like a totally different band trying to copy the sound DARKTHRONE had at the time of “Total Death”. Nocturno Culto plays some memorable DarkThrone-sounding riffs, but Fenriz should have been replaced with a drum machine and a black-metal-lyric-generator.
