In ’97 this unfinished album from between DARKTHRONE’s first and second album
was finally released, on the basis of a rehearsal and vocals that have been
added later (’94).
The most noticeable element in here are the vocals, probably from Fenriz’ throat, manic hissing and rasping spiced up with falsetto backing choirs that many have been fooled into thinking as female vocals before giving them a sharper listen.
One of my “personal” favorites because of my liking for DARKTHRONE’s death metal era; much more insane and satanik than “Total Death” or “Ravishing Grimness”.
