DISMAL EUPHONY is a romantic metal band from Norway with a female vocalist that is very prominent in some of their albums, less so here.

Not that artistic, this is about mildly dark folk-inspired woodland romanticism with some epicness that might catch you if you like fantasy and fairy-tales. This is not a totally useless album – I disliked it’s precepts but found it did capture atmosphere and the songs have an instinctive feel to their flow.
