Dark and sinister sounding finnish death metal here, somewhat reminiscent of their country mates Demilich, and also has some similarities with another of their country mates namely Demigod, both of those bands are defunct these days though. As for the Demigod reference could be explained by an ex-Demigod member being in this band, as for the Demilich well hard to say, as this is the only band that I can think of that comes close to what Demilich did, although Adramelech doesn't quite portray themselves as disturbed in the same degree as Demilich did, with their strange riffs and odd structures and not to mention those sick vocals. One could say that Adramelech is the more normalized version of Demilich, less bizarre riffing, less odd breaks, less foul sick atmosphere and well regular death metal vocals, this shouldn't be taken as if Adramelech is bad, because they surely aren't! but they fail to reach the ingenious of Demilich. Adramelech on their own merit accomplish a death metal album that has that special feel that some finish death metal bands can create. Something which I have yet to hear from any band hailing from anywhere else, it hurls you into a sick trance of glorious misanthropy, a surrealistic vision emanating insanity a relentless deeply rooted anger, and yet a strange apathy, this special feel in the music I've only heard from finnish bands, and Adramelech manages to capture that essence, and thus makes them a band worthy of attention...
