Band of well-known Dan Lilker plays pretty schizophrenic grindcore here. The first song is a pretty slow and melancholic riff-stampede but after that all hell breaks loose: fast, short, grinding and noisy songs. This stuff is not the one-dimensional (but great) grindcore a la Repulsion but it's varied, with some noise (and sometimes punky) parts.
The vocalist is a raving madman, he has a deep growl, but his screams are totally insane, frantic and unintelligible. When the band goes blasting this results in some pretty brutal stuff!
The band varies the grindcore with some out-of-place stuff, a didgeridoo in "Godplayer", two industrial/ambient type songs ("Ironlung" and "Crawlspace, esp. the latter one is a nauseating pile of noise, pretty cool) and a straight up punk type song ("Media Blitz", composed by The Germs). Some slower parts are present as well ("Collapse", "Ordinary Madness") and generally this only makes the fast stuff more frantic. Get this if you're into grindcore.
