Basically this was the beginning of the end for SATYRICON. This CD sounds like a bad DISSECTION clone, but with some (mostly bad) keyboard/piano parts. It doesn't even sound like pure black metal anymore, being in the veins of the "melodic" Swedish black/death bands!!! First this CD, then a tour with that shitty "death" metal band SINISTER, and finally the deal with Nuclear Blast!! Satyr is probably at the bank laughing with all his NB royalty checks as I write this!!!!
