Basically I sort of concentrate on collecting old school metal. Black/thrash/power bands that revive that spirit when metal was underground and in it's purest form. No Century Media, no Nuclear Blast throwing around hefty figures and lining pockets back then. Desaster are exactly the type of band that hits it off with me cause their music is exactly what I'm into. Pretty much has that ancient (not the shitty band) sound with a few modern touches here and there. This CD is very black and very metal which pleases me quite a bit. This first CD served as an introduction for me and I've followed the band ever since. Favourite songs are : 'Fields Of Battle' and 'Devil's Sword'. Good, well produced German black thrash, their latest CDs are even better, so seek them out.
