Heresiarh play what they call "Dragon Metal". These 6 songs are basically symphonic black metal with fantasy lyrics instead of overtly Satanic lyrics, and the final song has some folk elements. I quite like it actually. Riffs are majestic with an occasional lead break. Keyboards are present but are not used as a primary melodic instrument and the lead vocals are clean female vocals. There are, of course, rough raspy male vocals at times. Songs are well structured, well-written and dark. Riffs are not always played super-cleanly, but the composition more than makes up for it. Production is a bit lacking, but this is a "demo" and everything is mixed decently if not crystal clearly.
