Mostly dark, atmospheric ambient with the occasional black metal song. I really like this disc, because the atmosphere is dismal and the metal songs are exciting and IMO fairly original. The metal songs are somewhere in between Martyrium (with simple low-fi riffing), and Abigor (with majestic use of orchestral keys). This is one long track split into different "Acts" (9 altogether), some Acts are long, some are short. Production is clear for the keyboard atmospheric parts, and clear with an atypical guitar sound (like Martyrium) for the metal songs. Vocals range from chants to black rasps.
