Black metal-y gothic with fairly impressive compositions. Tunes are darker than most of the "black" metal bands with gothic overtones. Songs are sometimes Burzumesque in their drones and use of simple, yet effective, dark riffs. Rough vocals remind me of Sigh and of Greek black metal vocalists, clean vocals are strained, but I think that might be part of the gothic aesthetic. Production is clean, but thin enough to give it that we-recorded-this-in-a-tomb feel. This is a fine effort that should be heard.
